The Ultimate Dog Fight!

Posted by MysticSkillz - May 19th, 2013

Greetings Newgrounds peoples. It's been a blast working on this short project.
And now... It's time for me to release the hounds on to the portal.
I present to you The Ultimate Dog Fight! Mind you it's not very long but I hope you guys get a kick out it.

This is a fight I always wanted to see; so I animated my own.
I change up my style a little with the choreography, and I'm happy with it.

Well let me put in my critic in first before you guys blast me a new one. Lol
Yes! I could have put more pretty effects in it. (It's just my style)
Yes! I could have made it a lot longer. (This is just a warm up for others to come.)
Yes! I do have plans for other movies besides sprites movies. (This is my dedication towards sprites. I grew up on sprites soo.... I'm a fan of them! Plus I do have a special movie in mind I would like to work on with my brother.)
Why did.....Blah...Blah...Blah.........
Will I work on Ryu vs Akuma Round 5? (Yes!!! But not till the end of the year. After a while I get bored working with the same sprites after 4 *Coughs* mini shorts)

Anyway guys enjoy the movie.

The Ultimate Dog Fight!

P.S Official website will back up soon. New Art and Prints and Shirts soon to come.

what would you do if the flash file exploded your computer

What can I do? XD

Sounded great, and what I could watch of it, looked great. My poor old 2003 laptop just couldn't cut the frame rate :( Is it on your YouTube channel?

No youtube yet. Sorry!

First, criticism.

I noticed a few grammar errors: "inpsire" instead of "inspire" in the loading screen, "your" instead of "you're" in the "tie" option.

In the option where Sabrewulf wins, for a second I thought that the ending was a loop. You might've wanted to shorten that part a bit.

The timing was well made, but personally I think that more could be done by ambiental fights. Let the fighters bounce off some tables, chairs, or furniture, throw pieces of walls at enemies, take and use as weapons random objects from the background. These are just examples, I'm sure that you can pull off better ideas. It would add some more flavor to the thing.

Second, it was absolutely mind blowing. There really weren't moments to catch your breath.

Cool thanks for the heads up. Naw I don't want to add all that mess. It would have lagg the video. But thanks for the comment and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I liked the John Talbain ending! Sabrewulf and the tie ending, seemed a little lackluster, considering how varied and crazy, the whole fight sequence was.

lol I hear ya. So you say it's a tie?

I totally liked it, but the endings were a bit of a downer.
The fight was very entertaining and the effects were flashy.
