Goodbye 2024

Well here we are again! This is crazy! To me if felt like a couple months ago since the last recap and here we are. Another year has came a went! WTH!

Does it feel like it went by for you as well? It's cause we have spent so much time working and wasting tremendous about of time working our ass off. Well I can't speak for everyone. Not everyone can be so lucky, most have more responsibility than others. Any who let's jump right into it.

Re-Cap 2024

ComicGeek Dom Con was pretty chill. I really miss vending at these con and is looking forward of doing more often. Live streaming it just made the experience a thousand times more fun. I haven't been that hype in years.

2 vs 2 Sprite Bouts.

All tho only 2 sprite animations bouts completed this year, I can't really complain. I enjoy making these side projects just to keep my flash skillz lose.

Art

Not so much of it far as drawing up more pin-ups. New Products have been made as well as putting a bit of time into my website.

Streaming

Well I admit this year I've been going ham on that end. Spent nearly or more than 1k in investing as well as supporting others. Is it worth it? Yes! My little mascot Queeny been getting a lot of love lately and I'm so grateful.

Fallen Kingdom - Loud Planet Published

Well, there you have it. The final episode story telling short. Yeah it's basic animatic/webcomic short series, inspired by Egyptian mythology sci-fi. Earths been getting a lot of attention and Queeny want's to know why.

IRL

I'm hyphenation this year folks. And for a good reason, my job has been on some over work driven, power tripping attitude. I've switch over to overnight shift for a few reasons.

1. I was able to work in peace.
2. I was able to work in a department I'm comfortable in.
3. Working with a cool team and manager.
4. The pay raise wasn't bad at all.

It was good while it lasted. The cool manager is no longer with the company. 1 to 3 has merge into over work scenario. So time to move on to something better.

It's been a whole year since my dad was in ER for X-mas. He's made good recovery ever since, and spent time with the family this year.

Fallen Kingdom - Setting The Stage

But hold on! This project is not just for the Queen. I tend to make this a stage, a stage that will host multiple stories. Queeny is not just a pretty mascot, but also a narrative story teller. This also will be a chance to show cast other artists work with their consent of course. A free plug-in if you will.

This is something I still would like to work on for next year, but something else has came up and I'm pretty inspired to work on it first.

TMNT Feeding Frenzy

I always wanted to do something with the turtles which at first was going to be a simple boss fight with the shredder. Well change plans. Seen how cool the shredders revenge beat em up game. I can't help it how cool the sprites looked.

This is not a story driven project mind you, just another ride I like to make for the sprite community.

The turtle must help out their former rivals from becoming plant food.

Transition Program

Next year I plant to learn blender and clip studio paint. This a chance for me to break away from Adobe and to try my hand on something new to expand my creation a lot more. Hopefully with no distractions, things will go as plan.

And this is the final post for 2024. Get ready for a new chapter folks, with every thing going on don't get caught up in with distractions. Stay focus on your path. And I'll see you next year.
